Improvements & Changes

  • Custom fields:
    • Any user can view custom fields from any user if the fields are not hidden.
    • Only the event planner and business administrator can view hidden custom fields.
    • A user can edit their own non-hidden custom fields.
    • The business administrator can edit all custom fields.
  • External travel segment: when you import a travel segment from travel providers like Concur,  you cannot edit it. You will only be able to add a note.
  • Hotel list: hotels will be sorted alphabetically in the hotel list.
  • Hotel reservation and registration: if you register for an event that is not accepting hotel reservations and then the event begins to accept hotel reservations, you will have to register for the event again.
  • Back navigation:
    • Homepage
      • The Homepage should not have a back button.
    • People
      • The back button on the People list will take you back to the Homepage.
      • The back button on the profile, group and inactive user pages will take you back to the People list.
    • Hotels
      • The back button on the Hotels list will take you back to the Homepage.
      • The back button on the hotel pages will take you back to the Hotels list.
    • Events
      • The back button on the Events list will take you back to the Homepage.
      • The back button on the event page will take you to the Homepage.
      • The back button on the change requests, travel details or agenda pages should take you back to the event page.
  • Attendance dates: when registering for an event, the attendance dates will default to the event start and end dates.
  • Event attendance: the event attendance panel has been renamed to “Registration information”.
  • Default agenda item type: when creating an agenda item, the default type will be Meeting.
  • People create cancel: A cancel button has been added to the new user creation page.
  • Not attending confirmation: when registering for an event, if you select that you are not attending, you will be asked to confirm this.
  • Manual address: you can manually enter an address without choosing from the suggested options. You will have to also manually select the time zone for the address.
  • Custom settings rename: custom settings on events and profiles is now called Additional information.
  • Change request badge: when you create a change request, a badge will be displayed under your name. This badge will only be visible to the organizer.
  • Interface user login: when an interface user logs in, they need to receive the following message: “You are assigned to a role that prevents you from logging in.”
  • Alternate email: the alternate email will appear in the People list.
  • Plus buttons: The Plus (+) buttons have been updated.
  • Footer: a footer has been added to the site.
  • Amenities: hovering over a hotel amenity will display what type it is.
  • Style update: the design and styling of the app has been updated.
  • Event description: Event description will appear as a pop up when clicked.
  • Tool tips: all icons that do not have text describing them will have tool tips when you hover the mouse over them.
  • Feed reply: the “Reply” text has been replaced with a speech bubble.
  • To Do list: the directions link in the To Do list will open in a new tab.
  • Alert box: alert boxes are now pinned in place that way they will always be visible, even when you scroll to the bottom of the page.

Fixes

  • If you are trying to create an account with an email that already exists, you will receive the proper notification.
  • Details in the attendee list have been refined.
  • The issue with the People filter on the event page has been resolved.
  • Registration information text has been updated.
  • Erroneous text has been removed from the feed.
  • Cancelling out of the agenda creation page works properly now.
  • Adding people to a group through email works properly now.
  • Marking notifications as Read works properly now.
  • Hotel check-in and check-out are now visible in the event attendance box.
  • The Assign event hotel function wipes the data every time it is launched. This means that the information that you provided for a previous attendee will not show up for the next attendee.
  • If you click Cancel while writing a post, the data will be cleared and will not appear the next time you try to write a post.
  • When sending a notification, the notification window will automatically close when you click Send.
  • You will no longer receive an Error message when you visit an event.
  • Hotel check-in and check-out are now visible in the assign event hotel box.
  • The hotel information that is displayed on an event page will automatically update to match the status of the hotel reservation for the event whenever it is changed.
  • You will no longer receive an Error message when you go to the travel details page for an event.
  • You will no longer receive errors when you log out.
  • The requirements are now visible when uploading a photo.
  • Custom form fields are no longer showing up as optional if they are required.
  • The upcoming events list loads properly now.
  • Deleting hotel gallery images works properly now.
  • If there is no event description, the See more button will not be visible.
  • Password change works properly now.
  • Event hotel information is now visible.
  • An account can no longer appear in the active and inactive lists.
  • When creating an agenda, the Name field will appear as required if left blank.
  • Event document upload works properly now.
  • The event page properly displays registration information and travel details now.

  • Replying to a comment in the event feed works properly.

  • You no longer receive an error after creating a hotel.

  • The wording in the user creation field has been updated.

  • The My Profile option is now visible in the dropdown menu when you click your name.

  • The most recent hotel comments appear at the top of the list now.
